Kathmandu Social security allowance has been increased. The National Identity Card and Registration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice today saying that it has increased the social security allowance.
The Department has informed that the new rate of Social Security Allowance has been maintained as per the letter of the Ministry of Finance on 1/3/3/3/1 regarding the social security allowance in Fiscal Year 1.
With the increase in the allowance, the monthly rate of senior citizens and single and widowed women has increased to 3 thousand monthly, for disabled and endangered indigenous people.
Similarly, senior citizens who have completed six years will get monthly treatment cost of Rs.
